Eric Wallis Joins Golder Associates Great Lakes Operations Team
New Senior Consultant Aligns Experience in Solid-Waste Industry and Landfill Gas with Golder Mission
WIXOM, MI—March XX, 2014—Eric Wallis has joined Golder Associates as senior consultant in the Wixom office. His duties include helping clients in the solid-waste industry with expansion permits, site-characterization studies, hydrogeologic monitoring, corrective action, alternative leachate reduction and treatment, and subsurface landfill gas projects. “I’ll help them navigate through regulatory issues and optimize various programs to realize efficiencies and operational-cost savings,” he said. Internally, Eric will support Golder’s participation in various professional organizations.
Prior to joining Golder, Eric was a groundwater program director for Waste Management, Inc., and covered 50 locations throughout the United States, including Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, and West Virginia. There, his responsibilities included managing groundwater programs, expansions, landfill gas migration, remediation, and environmental-regulatory affairs. He also developed standards and web-based training programs, conducted international webinars about a variety of landfill-related topics—and worked with Golder on a number of projects.

Eric Wallis has a bachelor of science in Geology from Western Michigan University, and is licensed to practice law in Michigan.
