Wake County, NC Request for Proposals for LFG Utilization Project
The U.S. EPA's Landfill Methane Outreach Program (LMOP) is pleased to provide its Partners and other interested parties information about a Request for Proposals (RFP) issued by Wake County for the development and operation of a landfill gas (LFG) utilization project at the North Wake Landfill (NWLF) in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Wake County is seeking proposals from qualified, experienced firms to expand the County’s existing below-ground LFG collection system, as necessary to install new above-ground components of the system and develop an LFG beneficial utilization project at its closed NWLF. If selected, the successful party will enter into an agreement for the development, construction, and operation of an LFG collection and control system and beneficial use project, including the collection, marketing, and sale of LFG or other product generated from the use of LFG collected from the NWLF.
