Waste Equipment Technology Association Welcomes New Chairman and Members of Board of Governors
Washington, DC – At its recent annual meeting, the Waste Equipment Technology Association (WASTEC) welcomed new leaders to its Board of Governors. Robert Mecchi is now the Chairman, and Mike Savage is now the Vice Chairman. Mecchi is Vice President for Big Truck Rental in Tampa, Florida, and Savage is the President and CEO of PTR Baler and Compactor Company in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
In addition to these officers, WASTEC welcomed some other new representatives to its Board of Governors. Patrick Carroll and George Fink have joined the WASTEC Board of Governors. Patrick Carroll is the President of the Environmental Solutions Group, A Dover Corporation Company in Chattanooga, Tennessee. George Fink is a Vice President for Volvo Construction Equipment in Asheville, North Carolina.
Finally, John Curotto and Michael Schwalbach have accepted alternate seats on the WASTEC Board of Governors. Curotto is President and CEO of The Curotto-Can, Inc., in Sonoma, California. Schwalbach is Business Group Manager for Rehrig Pacific Company in Los Angeles, California.
Janice Comer Bradley, the Executive Vice President for WASTEC, said, “We are fortunate that Robert and Mike have agreed to serve in leadership roles on the WASTEC Board of Governors. They and the other representatives on the Board of Governors have demonstrated their commitment to the association and the industry. All of the members of our Board of Governors exemplify the best qualities found in the our member companies.”
