Keating Elected CEO Of Contech
Transition from Harlow to Keating Underway
CONTECH Construction Products Inc. announced today that Ronald C. Keating has been elected the company’s President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) effective July 1, 2008. Keating joined CONTECH in August, 2007 as President and Chief Operating Officer as well as a member of the company’s Board of Directors. Patrick M. Harlow will transition out of the role of CEO over the next month and will continue as the Chairman of CONTECH’s Board of Directors.

Harlow joined CONTECH as the president and CEO in 1999, and was named chairman in 2001. He led the company through a transformation from a drainage products supplier to the recognized leader in infrastructure site solutions that CONTECH is today. Through Harlow’s vision and focused execution of an aggressive growth strategy, the company expanded into bridges, retaining walls, erosion control and stormwater solutions by completing 18 acquisitions over nine years.
