Vice President of Clean Energy to Speak at SWANA's 33rd Annual Landfill Gas Symposium
Harrison Clay, vice president of the Renewable Fuels and General Counsel at Clean Energy, will be the keynote speaker for SWANA’s 33rd Annual Landfill Gas Symposium to be held March 8–11, 2010, in San Diego, California.
His presentation, titled, “Creating an Efficient and Free Market in Pipeline Quality Biomethane,” will describe the steps that need to be taken to create an efficient and free market for biomethane that will stimulate a rapid increase in production of this invaluable domestic energy resource.
Along with his role as vice president, Mr. Clay also serves on the Board of Managers for Dallas Clean Energy, Clean Energy’s landfill-gas-processing joint venture. Prior to joining Clean Energy, Mr. Clay served as director of corporate development and general counsel at the San Francisco investment bank WR Hambrecht + Co. He has extensive experience in securities offerings, mergers and acquisitions, corporate development, venture capital, and the clean tech and energy industries.
The Landfill Gas Symposium is the leading forum on landfill gas utilization and technology. The event begins on Monday, March 8, 2010, with training opportunities, division and advocacy meetings, and an opening reception. On Tuesday, technical sessions begin with Mr. Clay’s keynote address.
