Charles Kuhn Joins Sacramento Office Of SCS Engineers As Project Manager

Charles Kuhn has joined the Sacramento office of SCS Engineers as project manager, announced Pat Sullivan, vice president of the leading national environmental consulting firm.

Kuhn brings to SCS Engineers 18 years of experience in the solid waste industry. In his position as project manager, Kuhn is responsible for solid waste planning for the company.

Prior to joining SCS Engineers, Kuhn served three years as owner and operator of KC Consulting, LLC in Carson City, Nev. and Sacramento, Calif. He was responsible for project management, regulatory oversight, permitting, presentations, representing clients to regulatory agencies, project design, contractual management and environmental review.

Before that, Kuhn spent more than six years as general manager of Crestline Recycling & Disposal, Inc. in Las Vegas, Nev.; six years as project manager at Vector Engineering, Inc., in Grass Valley, Calif.: and three years as project manager at Solution Resources, Inc., also in Grass Valley.

Kuhn received his Bachelor of Science degree from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and his Master of Science degree from the University of Nevada, Reno. Additionally, he completed training in strategic planning. He is a member of the Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA).

Born and raised in California, Kuhn currently lives in Citrus Heights, Calif., and has two adult children. In his free time, he enjoys hand cycling, sit skiing and writing.
