Prince George's County, Maryland is inviting contractors to bid for the operations and maintenance of the Brown Station Road Sanitary Landfill Gas Recovery and Cogeneration Project, including repairs and replacements.

These services will be conducted both on-site at the landfill and off-site at the County Correctional Center (CCC) for: (1) an on-site engine-generator facility (landfill gas power plant), (2) an off-site engine-generator facility (CCC power plant), (3) an on-site compressor building, (4) an off-site pressure reducing station, and (5) a landfill gas transmission line. The Gas Recovery and Cogeneration Project collectively can use approximately 2,400 cubic feet per minute of landfill gas.

Bids are due by 2:00 PM (EST) on February 13, 2008. A non-mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit is being held on January 16, 2008 at the landfill, which is located at 3500-G Brown Station Road, Upper Marlboro, MD 20772.
