
Request for Proposals (RFP) from the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) for electric power supply in Pennsylvania.

GSA is requesting proposals from electric generation suppliers, including projects using landfill gas (LFG), to provide electric power to Federal and non-Federal facilities in the Duquesne Light Service territory in Pennsylvania. The approximate annual electric requirement is 50,000,000 kilowatt-hours with 13 megawatts of combined peak demand. Electric supply delivered must contain at least a 3% renewable power content as defined in the solicitation. Multiple awards will not be considered.
The successful offeror will supply electricity and transmission for a contract term of thirty-six full billing months. Deliveries will begin with the May 2008 meter read date. A six-month extension period is included in the contract.
Supplier technical responses to the solicitation are due no later than 2:00 PM (EST) on February 20, 2008. Pricing should be submitted in accordance with the solicitation no later than 10:30 AM (EST) on February 27, 2008.
