Unit is the first to integrate body and chassis for route-ready service Cynthiana, KY — March 18, 2008 E-Z Pack, a leading manufacturer of durable and dependable refuse bodies, has donated a Hercules 40 cubic yard commercial front loader to the Environmental Research and Education Foundation (EREF) Annual Refuse Equipment Absolute Auction. The auction will be held on May 7, 2008 during the WasteExpo convention in Chicago.
E-Z Pack is a long time supporter of EREF and has donated equipment to past auctions. The company is a member of EREF's Chairman's Circle Club, which is reserved for those who have donated at the highest level.
The Hercules front loader being donated is fully integrated with an Autocar chassis. The two companies collaborated as a single engineering team, thus ensuring that hydraulic, electric and pneumatic systems function smoothly together. As a result, the truck is route ready, reducing the break in period and increasing productivity. This integrated approach offers multiple benefits, including quicker availability, increased reliability and simplified warranty of administration.
"We are proud to continue our support and participation in EREF's auction again this year," said Phil Daetwyler, E-Z Pack President and CEO. "Our integrated Hercules front loader will be an asset to the successful bidder.”
In addition to donating to the EREF auction, E-Z Pack will be exhibiting in booth 660 at WasteExpo.
