Kinsley Named Director of Materials for East Trailers
In keeping with the company’s ongoing commitment to continually improve the quality and reliability of their trailers, East Manufacturing recently promoted David Kinsley to director of materials, announced Mark Holtz, vice president of sales and marketing.
“We are constantly re-examining how we do business,” said Holtz. “David will play a key role in reducing the impact of fluctuating prices and availability of materials we use, particularly aluminum and steel,” he added. Kinsley, who joined East as a procurement analyst in June 2006, is currently responsible for integrating all phases of material control, including acquisition, inventory, planning, purchasing, expediting, production scheduling, and shipping and receiving.
Previously he was a partner in Ohana Ventures in Cleveland, Ohio, and executive vice president of international sales and marketing for Toy Biz in New York City. For 20 years prior, Kinsley worked for Kay Bee Toys in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, ultimately serving as vice president of divisional merchandise management.
He and his wife Mary, who reside in Jackson Township near Canton, Ohio, have two sons and a daughter.
