Labrie introduces the Helping Hand Long Reach for a more productive and safer collection
The EXPERT(t) 2000 Helping Hand™ is one of the most versatile units available on the market. Any municipality or private hauler that needs to pick up bags and/ or wheeled carts, curbside or streetside, still have the right unit for the job when switching to an automated collection program.
A new horizontal section with a 3 feet stroke was added to the existing 84 in. reach Helping Hand mechanical arm. This additional reach greatly improves the productivity of the collection and the safety of the operator – farther set out carts that needed to be brought to the truck manually can now be picked up by the arm. This option also makes collection around parked cars much easier. The Long Reach allows for cart pickup up to 120 in. without losing its zero grab feature or lifting capacity. As easy to operate as the standard Helping Hand, this option is available on all body sizes/configurations (including split bodies) and allows for Left-Hand side cart tipper.
