Kleinfelder Announces New Regional Manager for Northern California
Kleinfelder is pleased to announce the selection of Patrick Flynn, P.E., as the new regional manager of Kleinfelder’s Northern California region.
Flynn has more than 34 years of experience in the industry. Prior to joining Kleinfelder, Flynn served as vice president and Sacramento area manager for Jacobs Carter Burgess. As area manager he was responsible for all operations, P&L and strategic growth in the Sacramento area and Central Valley.

Flynn has extensive experience in business practices including short and long-term strategic planning, budgeting, business development, marketing, recruiting, human resources and community relations. His project experience includes civil engineering design, construction, and management of both public and private sector projects. Additionally, Flynn has prior experience in the public sector as the City Engineer for Walnut Creek and Placerville and Senior Engineer for Contra Costa County where he managed all federal ACOE sponsored flood control projects in the county.
Active in several professional organizations including American Public Works Association, the Society of Military Engineers and the Consulting Engineers and Land Surveyors of California, California Transportation Foundation, Flynn maintains professional engineering registrations in both California and Nevada and earned his bachelor’s degree in transportation engineering from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
