Questions regarding the RFP must be delivered in writing (e-mail preferred). To be given consideration, questions must be received by 1:00 PM (EDT) on June 6, 2008.
Proposals must be received no later than 2:00 PM (EDT) on June 16, 2008.

Buncombe County issued this RFP for the purpose of developing a landfill gas energy (LFGE) project at the County's active Subtitle D landfill. The County is seeking firms that are interested and qualified to convert methane gas to electricity or other beneficial use.

A pre-proposal conference and site tour was held on April 24, 2008 at the Solid Waste Management Facility main office. The facility is located at 81 Panther Branch Road, Alexander, NC 28701. The purpose of the conference and site visit was to familiarize respondents with the site, discuss the work to be performed, and answer questions. Attendance was encouraged but not mandatory.
